How do I make a WhatsApp deep link?
Paste any WhatsApp link into ZRO and share the short link it gives you. When someone taps it on an iPhone or an Android phone, it opens in the WhatsApp app. On a computer it opens the website.
Does a WhatsApp deep link work from inside Instagram, TikTok or Facebook?
Yes. ZRO recognises the in-app browser and steps out of it. On an iPhone it opens the WhatsApp app first and falls back to Safari. On Android it opens the app through its package.
What happens if WhatsApp is not installed?
The visitor lands on the WhatsApp website instead of an error. ZRO records the tap, so you can see how many people could not open the app.
