Amazon deep links
A ZRO Amazon deep link opens product pages and other pages on 19 Amazon country sites, a.co and amzn.to short links on Android in the Amazon app, on iPhone and Android, even when the tap starts inside another app’s browser.
What an Amazon deep link opens
- Product pages and other pages on 19 Amazon country sites
- a.co and amzn.to short links on Android
Short links open the app on Android only.
What happens on each device
- iPhone
- On an iPhone, ZRO opens Amazon site links in the Shopping app. Short links (a.co, amzn.to) have no app link on iPhone, so a tap from an in-app browser moves to Safari.
- Android
- ZRO opens the Amazon app by its package name, com.amazon.mShop.android.shopping. If the app is not installed, the visitor gets the website.
- Computer
- There is no app to open, so the visitor gets the Amazon website. The tap is still counted.
The Amazon deep link ZRO builds
This is generated from a sample Amazon address by the same code that handles real taps.

How do I make an Amazon deep link?
Paste any Amazon link into ZRO and share the short link it gives you. When someone taps it on an iPhone or an Android phone, it opens in the Amazon app. On a computer it opens the website.
Does an Amazon deep link work from inside Instagram, TikTok or Facebook?
Yes. ZRO recognises the in-app browser and steps out of it. On an iPhone it opens the Amazon app first and falls back to Safari. On Android it opens the app through its package.
What happens if Amazon is not installed?
The visitor lands on the Amazon website instead of an error. ZRO records the tap, so you can see how many people could not open the app.
What can an Amazon deep link open?
Product pages and other pages on 19 Amazon country sites, a.co and amzn.to short links on Android. Short links open the app on Android only.
Can I see how many people opened the Amazon app?
Yes. Your dashboard shows Yield, the share of taps on phones that ended with the app open, along with where each tap came from and which outcome it had.
